Welcome to Tarun Bharat Andolan

Asia is rising and so India as well as other asian nations are on the rise. Side by side, People's Republic of China ic also rising at a fast pace. So, it is rightly said that the present century is going to be that of Asia. The world is going to be Asia centric instead of Europe centric as envisioned by the scholars. In this fast changing world, what  ought to be the role of our country that is India, is a matter to be pondered well. What ails India in the field of development in comparison to China and other developing countries and what may be  probable solutions to these problems, that is the motto of Tarunbharatandolan blog which I dedicate to the millions of hard working and  toiling mass of our country and also to the great patriots who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and ultimate emancipation of our country. My friends, the time has come to not only think about our country and her problems but also to participate actively in the making of this great nation. The basic problem in my view is that the knowledgeable class which is the backbone of any nation has been mostly passive as regards active participation in the affairs of the civic actitivities leaving the level field to the politicians who have failed miserably to deliver goods to the country. There has been too much power politics and less participation in the good governance less to speak of better welfare measures which ought to be taken for the general welfare of the poor, downtrodden, unemployed, women, minorities and other neglected sections of society which might have contributed in the making of this great nation. To my view, the basic cause of today's ills stems from the fact that reins of power which fell  after the freedom of our country in impractical and less visionary hands who were mainly concerned with reaping the fruits of the endless freedom struggle. Something wrong went at the very start of the tryst of destiny which India was to reap in the after years. The partition could have been avoided and the united India could have faced the problems of nation building with more vigor and strength. But the lust for power was such that partition was accepted as though it was in store for them. The great Mahatma Gandhi who led the march to freedom was neglected and sidelined by the power seekers at the helm of affairs then. His very concept of the new India in making was denied in the shape of nation building. The concept of Gram Swaraaj was given a ceremonial burial by the then government and it began to copy the model of European model of development which was not at all suitable to the typical conditions of India. The results we are reaping in the form of large unemployment and poverty paving the way for huge gap between the haves and havenots. The flaws were visible even in selection of our National Anthem. The present national anthem with all our respect to the Indian nation and her sovereignty is that the anthem smacks of Imperial subjugation.Any informed citizen knows well that this song was sung as a tribute to  the emperor James First whose coronation ceremony was held in Delhi.  Bande Matram would have been far better choice but why it was rejected no one gave the logical reply. The very spirit of patriotism was banished from the heart of the millions of Indians. History was taught in such a way that it seems to the students that only a particular family having access to the corridors of power was responsible to liberate the country from the colonial yoke. The great patriots Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Ray, Bipin Chandra Paal and Bal Gangadhar Tilak along with several revolutionaries were denied their proper place in the history of freedom struggle. Hence, the motto of Tarunbharatandolan blog is to provide a platform to the conscious citizens of this country to exchange our views regarding our country and her ills. May be some way out could be found from the churning of the ocean of intellectual discussions. I on behalf of this blog invite suggestions and ideas which may help in making our country play the historical role she is destined to play in the days to come. On this day of Holikaa Dahan I dedicate this blog as a humble effort to cleanse the present state of affairs. Friends, India is on the brink of threshhold and it is our solemn duty to come forward to save our motherland from another mess. May be some people may question our intent but that is quite natural when the property and natural resources of our people are plundered by the self seeking politicians who swear in the name of Mahatma Gandhi but do just the opposite.
